Confined Space Entry & Rescue Course
Course Overview
The Confined space Entry is a very important course as a lot of people thinking that they have no confined spaces in their facility and they often learn that they actually do. Unfortunately, most of the accidents related to confined spaces are deadly, so all people working with confined spaces must learn and understand all the features of the confined spaces and all the related standards. This course has been organized and developed by the International Association of Safety Professionals (IASP) in USA based on the international American standards for Confined Spaces Entry (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146). The Course provides an excellent technical background in the main essentials of confined space entry and for confined space rescue team.
Who Should Participate
For all multinational Organizations have one or more of the confined spaces in their scope of work and need to improve the level of safety implementation during their work and prevent any undesirable accident coming from entering or dealing with this kind of spaces. The course is designed for each single person will or may deal with confined spaces in any means, in addition to the rescue team shall be dedicated for possibly emergency cases.
Learning Outcomes
After successfully completing the course, the participants will be better able to:
- Define the features of the confined spaces and determine whether the space is considered as confined or not. List the common examples of confined spaces.
- Explain the hazards of the confined spaces.
- Explain in detail the General safety precautions required when dealing with confined space
- Perform the gas testing by using the multiple gas detectors and learn how to test the different gases (Oxygen, toxic, and combustibles) inside the confined spaces.
- explain the procedures, and fill the confined space permit.
- Know how to use the rescue equipment required in emergencies

The Participants shall receive a hard copy of the course material.

None required
Course Duration
The course is 3- day including theoretical and practical training if available.
Course Certification
Attending the theoretical session and the practical training of the course are mandatory for getting the local Course Certificate or the both the local and international certificates and wallet card from the International Association of Safety Professionals (IASP) in USA.
Course Language
The course material shall be in both languages (English and Arabic)
